With its 5,75 m hull length and 2,21m beam, the Optimus 575 only weights 470 kg (dry). Combined with the suggested 70hp Yamaha outboard engine it reaches up to 30 mph at extremely low fuel consumption. The boat can be easily trailered and operated by one person, including launching and loading. It gives plenty of room and storage for up to 6 adults, has a maximum load of 700 kg and can be used for leisure as well as work purposes.

The Optimus 575 is simply designed for efficiency in speed and fuel consumption, while offering maximum stiffness and safety on rough water, says Sam Manuard, who designed the body. The boat has the DNA of a modern sailing boat, and you may start to wonder where the mast is, Manuard continues with a smile.

The Optimus body is built of vacuum infused PVC/cork composite structures, which is optimized to fit the simplified design.
